Expanding Access to Financial Services

Transparency of the  Bank and Efficiency of Information Disclosure Processes

The Bank is dedicated to and bears social responsibility for providing access to financial services and raising awareness of its offerings among clients, including low-income individuals, youth, women, and rural residents.

In 2025, Otbasy Bank demonstrated a high level of transparency and efficiency in its information disclosure processes. Over the course of the year, 96 press releases were prepared and distributed. They covered a wide spectrum of topics, ranging from the advantages of the housing construction savings system and the accrual of the state premium to the launch of the "Nauryz" programs and its new "Nauryz Zhumysker" direction, as well as educational savings via the "AQYL" deposit, the "Keleshek" program, and the "National Fund for Children" initiative.

These materials served as an essential tool for public outreach and raising awareness about the Bank's programs and services. They helped citizens understand how to correctly take advantage of new opportunities, what documents are required to participate in the programs, how to open an account quickly, how to select an appropriate program, and how to avoid missing application deadlines. Thanks to these publications, thousands of families learned how to efficiently save for housing or education, how to access funds from the National Fund, and which preferential programs are available specifically to them.

Based on these press releases, 700 earned media articles were published, and the total number of Bank mentions in the media landscape exceeded 10,000, which strengthened public trust in the Bank and raised population awareness regarding available support measures.

The Bank pursues a policy of information openness, educational outreach, and targeted communication with the population, remaining highly receptive to customer feedback. The Bank actively disseminates information about new products and programs through the media, internet resources, and social networks, making it accessible to broad segments of the population. It initiates publications, interviews, and expert articles explaining the operating principles of the housing construction savings system, mortgage lending, and financial planning. Information materials are prepared with different audiences in mind—such as youth, families, and socially vulnerable segments of the population—helping to communicate the Bank's opportunities effectively.

Furthermore, 4 meetings of the Otbasy Bank Public Advisory Council were held in 2025. During these meetings, the most pressing issues facing waitlist registrants were reviewed, along with approaches to housing allocation under the Bank's new role as a national development institution. These discussions provided a vital platform for open  dialogue with the expert community and for developing solutions aimed at increasing the transparency and efficiency of housing policy.

For direct client feedback, the Bank maintains a contact center, hosts the blog of the Chair of the Management Board on its website, and conducts citizen receptions on a regular basis.
