Otbasy Bank was established in 2003 in order to improve and increase the efficiency of long-term financing of housing construction and to develop the housing construction savings system aimed at improving the housing conditions of the population.

 

 

The founder of the Bank is the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan represented by the State Property and Privatization Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which holds the right to dispose of the state shareholding of the Bank. Since August 2013, the Sole Shareholder of the Bank has been JSC "NIH "Baiterek" (hereinafter – the Holding). The Bank is part of the Holding's group of companies and has no subsidiary organizations, nor does it hold shares in the authorized capital of other legal entities.

The Bank is established in the organizational and legal form of a joint stock company and has:
