Risk management

The implementation of the climate risk assessment system in the Bank remains a key element of adaptation to the requirements of regulators, international standards and the growing impact of climate factors on financial sustainability.

Based on the results of 2025, the previously developed methodology for assessing climate risks was implemented into the Bank's practice. A regular assessment of the credit portfolio's exposure to physical and transition climate risks is carried out, including the impact on the financial sustainability of the Bank in the short, medium and long term. Significant climate risks associated with an increase in the frequency and consequences of negative climatological phenomena, as well as with the tightening of national requirements regarding energy efficiency in the construction sector, are integrated into the processes of strategic and budget planning, underwriting and capital management.

The system allows the Bank to respond in a timely manner to changes in the external and internal climate of risks, strengthening the sustainability of the business model and compliance with international and national standards.
