Remuneration of Bank Employees

The Bank provides its employees with equal opportunities to realize their potential during their career development, ensuring an impartial and fair evaluation of their performance. In establishing fair remuneration, the Bank relies on recognizing work results and the achievement of key performance indicators, qualification and competence levels, as well as the complexity and quality of the work performed.

The Bank's employee remuneration system consists of a fixed component (base salary, bonuses) and a variable component (performance bonus).

The base salary amount is determined using a grade structure and is established in accordance with the base salary matrix and the staff schedule approved by the Bank's Management Board.

A salary range defining minimum, mid-point, and maximum values is established for each grade.

The base salary matrix reflects the pay range from the minimum to the maximum value within a grade.

The matrix is structured to respect the principle of internal equity (paying positions of similar value to the Bank within a specified range) and external competitiveness (providing a sufficient level of core remuneration to attract and retain talent). No cases of discrimination were recorded during the reporting year.

In the reporting year, the ratio of the average base salary of men to women by employee category was 1:0.8.

The ratio of senior management's base salary to the average remuneration level at the Bank was 1:0.2.

The ratio of the minimum wage of employees at the Bank to the statutory minimum wage in the Republic of Kazakhstan was 1:0.6.

The ratio of the average salary of the Chairman of the Bank's Management Board to the average salary of the Bank's employees in 2024 was 1:0.1.

Following the results of 2025, the average salary growth rate amounted to 12%.

In accordance with internal regulations, the Bank covers personnel maintenance costs and related contributions, which include payroll expenses, mandatory contributions to the social medical insurance fund and the social insurance fund, social tax, accrued annual leave and paid sick leave expenses, voluntary medical insurance, bonuses, and cash social assistance. The Bank does not have any legal or constructive obligations to pay pensions or similar benefits other than payments under the state-defined contribution plan.
