Labor/Management Relations

To foster strong employee-management relations, the Bank regularly holds:

  1. Weekly planning meetings involving executives and heads of structural units to address operational matters;
  2. Quarterly meetings between the Chairperson of the Management Board and heads of structural units to discuss progress on the approved Goal Maps for the reporting period;
  3. Ongoing open and effective working communication between the Bank’s employees and management.

The Bank also holds joint team-building corporate events, trainings and sporting events with the participation of the Bank’s management.

Regulation of working hours in the Bank is based on the fact that with a five-day working week, the duration of daily work (working shift) may not exceed 8 hours with a weekly norm of 40 hours. The duration of daily work (working shift), start and end time of daily work (working shift), and the time of work breaks are determined in compliance with the duration of the working week established by the Rules of Labor Relations and Internal Work Order in the Bank, labor agreements and collective bargaining agreement.

The collective bargaining agreement applies to the employer and employees of the Bank, on whose behalf the collective bargaining agreement is concluded, and employees who have joined it on the basis of a written application. In the Bank, 100 % of the total number of employees are covered by collective bargaining agreements.

The Bank strictly complies with the standards and requirements of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In case of significant amendments concerning the Bank’s activities, employees are notified in accordance with the established procedure (not later than fifteen calendar days in advance).
