Diversity and Inclusion

The Bank adheres to and promotes the principles of diversity and inclusion, recognizing their importance and universality. It shares the conviction that diversity and inclusion are key factors in achieving the Bank’s long-term development goals, supporting the attraction, development, and retention of talent, enabling more effective decision-making, and allowing the Bank to respond more promptly to dynamic changes in the external environment.

The Bank has adopted a Diversity and Inclusion Policy aimed at creating equal opportunities for all employees and staff, eliminating all forms and manifestations of discrimination, and ensuring that the needs of all categories of employees and staff are equally considered in any planned initiative or project. The Bank strives to build an inclusive culture characterized by openness and constructive challenge, where employees and staff feel respected, valued, and supported.

Employees and staff of the Bank may always seek guidance on the implementation of this Policy or report any violations of the Policy, applicable legislation, or internal regulations of the Bank, including in accordance with the procedure set out in the Bank’s internal document on reporting violations, by contacting:

  • The Bank’s Diversity and Inclusion Officer, including on gender-related matters;
  • The Bank Employees’ Representative (for Bank employees);
  • The Bank’s Ombudsman (for Bank employees).

The designated Diversity and Inclusion Officer, including for gender-related matters, is Lyazzat Ibragimova, Chair of the Bank’s Management Board.

Additionally, the Bank annually develops an Action Plan aligned with the objectives set out in the Diversity and Inclusion Policy. The annual report on the implementation of the Action Plan is published on the official website of the Bank under the Sustainable Development / ESG Reporting section.
