“Housing Construction Savings Bank of Kazakhstan” JSC has reduced rates within “My own house” program

Loans for participants of “My own house” “Housing Construction Savings Bank of Kazakhstan” JSC program (subsidiary organization of Baiterek holding) from the 2nd of July 2018 were reduced to 7% per year. Also in order to provide bank depositors with more affordable square meters the first minimum instalment amount has been reduced.
Now, in order to receive preliminary housing loan under “My own house” program it is enough to have on the account 20% of housing cost. Previously loan interest rate under “My own house” program depended on savings amount. If bank depositor had on the account 30% of housing cost he/she could claim preliminary loan at the rate of 9.5% per year. In case of early saving on bank deposit 50% of housing cost he/she has the right to receive credit at the rate of 7.5% to 8.5%.
Conditions of housing loan, the rate of which is 3.5-5%, remain unchanged. In order to receive it “Housing Construction Savings Bank of Kazakhstan” JSC customer has within minimum 3 years to save on the bank account 50% of housing cost and achieve necessary estimated figure.
Maximum period of crediting is 25 years depending on selected type of loan. - “My own house” program was launched by “Housing Construction Savings Bank of Kazakhstan” JSC 3 years ago in support of state programs. It offers to bank depositors new housing from real estate developers at prices lower than market ones. Thus, average cost of 1 square meter in Almaty and Astana is 260 000 – 290 000 KZT, in regions – 180 000 – 200 000 KZT.
According to calculations there are about 45 000 depositors already have savings in the amount of 20% of initial instalmentl, and now our task is to help them purchase affordable housing, accommodate them in new, comfortable and inexpensive apartments. This way we will support not only bank customers, who trust us, but also construction sector in the country,” - explained Lyazzat Ibragimova “Housing Construction Savings Bank of Kazakhstan” JSC chairperson.
This year it is planned to sell 3 885 apartments with total cost of 45,8 billion of KZT within frames of “My own home” program. Whereas bank depositors will purchase 623 apartments even at the stage of shared equity construction. With the purpose of ensuring security of our customers we cooperate with those companies, which have obtained guarantee from the housing construction guarantee fund. Three facilities are sold in Astana already in this area. The cost of housing was fixed there even at the stage of construction – 240 000 KZT for 1 square meter,” - emphasized Lyazzat Ibragimova.
All new facilities under “My own house” program are placed on bank portal baspana.kz. There an applicant for housing may choose an apartment in that city, in which he/she wants to buy it, view availability of facilities, which are being constructed, learn if applications are being accepted, choose favorite apartment, submit an application for participation in a pool of housing purchasers.
All “Housing Construction Savings Bank of Kazakhstan” JSC customers without exclusion can participate in “My own house” program. This is advantage of the program. It does not contain the requirement for residence registration in this or other city. Also it is allowed to own other housing facility.
