In accordance with the order of the Deputy Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market, JSC "Otbasy Bank" (a subsidiary of the "Baiterek" holding) has been granted a license with the inclusion of additional types of operations:

• acceptance of deposits, opening, and maintaining bank accounts for individuals to participate in the state educational savings system;
• trust operations of money management on behalf of and at the direction of the trustor within the framework of the state educational savings system.

A housing program for young scientists has been launched in Kazakhstan. As part of the cooperation agreement signed between Otbasy Bank (a subsidiary of the 'Baiterek' holding) and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, from December 1, 2023, the bank will start accepting loan applications from scientists.

Otbasы Bank, a subsidiary of the 'Baiterek' holding, has become the sole Otbasы Bank, a subsidiary of the 'Baiterek' holding, is the only entity from Kazakhstan to have received the CAREC (Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation) Award for its active promotion of gender equality in the country.

Today members of House construction savings bank of Kazakhstan Community council (a subsidiary organization of Baiterek holding) were told about realization of two socially important housing programs. What is meant here are “Askeri baspana” and a new focus area of “Nurly zher” program – loan issue to low income families for purchase of housing.

With updated conditions it started on the 2nd of May and already on the 27th of May the bank has declared about its early finishing. Over 19 work days 680 loans for the amount of 10,7 billions of KZT were issued.

An in-person meeting of board of directors of House construction savings bank of Kazakhstan of Kazakhstan JSC took place on the 20th of May 2019 in Astana chaired by Aidar Arifkhanov – chairman of Baiterek holding executive board.

All new settlers are participants of “Bakytty otbasy” city housing program. It was launched by Almaty mayor's administration jointly with House construction savings bank of Kazakhstan in March 2019 and today first new settlers, who bought housing under this program, were congratulated by Almaty city mayor – Bauyrzhan Baibek and deputy chairperson of House construction savings bank of Kazakhstan  executive board – Zhanar Zhubaniyazova.

472 families among them are getting ready to move to their apartments. Their housing is located in Alatau district of Almaty, in Sayaly micro-district. Today new settlers received keys from apartments from Almaty deputy mayor – Mukhit Azirbayev – and deputy chairperson of House construction savings bank of Kazakhstan executive board – Zhanar Zhubaniyazova.
