Housewarming event in Astana will be celebrated by first 100 HCSBK depositors due to housing certificates

Astana city mayor's administration allocated 100 millions of KZT from the budget specially for this. And today 100 persons received housing certificates with nominal value of 1 million of KZT: doctors, teachers, policemen. The money will be spent on initial contribution for purchase of apartment through HCSBK.
-Head of the state commissioned in his message to mayors administrations to increase affordability of mortgage for population. We started this work jointly with capital city authorities in advance and today first housing certificates are received by Astana residents. The allocated monetary funds will become a timely support for them and public sector employees will save up money quicker for the minimum 20% initial contribution. Then HCSBK will issue a loan, the rate of which will not exceed 7% per annum. Maximum period of the loan will be 25 years, whereas the amount of the loan shall not exceed 25 millions of KZT. If we all consolidate: the government, mayors' administrations, banks and start to work according to such a scheme, then within 10 years we will be able to reduce twofold the number of persons on the waiting list for housing in Kazakhstan. Now this figure is equal to 440 thousands of persons, - explained Zhansultan Matayev – director of HCSBK Central branch.

At the moment of submitting applications teachers, medical workers and policemen as well as members of their families should have permanent residence registration in Astana. Also they shall be depositors of HCSBK and have savings on their accounts.
The formed list of selected candidates was sent by Astana mayor's administration to HCSBK for confirmation of capacity to repay. After this the final pull of candidates will be formed and within a month the money will be accrued to their accounts in HCSBK. Then the social aid recipient will be given three months to select housing and become an owner thereof.
