Announcement for Members of the Public Council
Dear citizens and representatives of non-profit organizations!
The working group for the formation of the Public Council of JSC "Otbasy Bank" (hereinafter referred to as the Bank), in accordance with Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 2, 2015, "On Public Councils" (hereinafter referred to as the Law) and the Model Regulation on the Public Council (approved by the order of MIOR dated February 26, 2021 No. 69), announces a competitive selection of candidates for the Public Council of the Bank.
Competition period: 10 working days.
Quantitative composition of the Public Council of the Bank: 11 people, including 3 representatives from the Bank and 8 representatives from civil society.
In accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 10 of the Law, a candidate for membership in the Public Council may be a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan who has reached the age of eighteen.
A candidate for membership in the Public Council must not:
- Have an unexpunged or unremoved conviction in the manner prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Have been found guilty by a court, in the manner prescribed by law, of committing a corruption crime and/or corruption offense.
- Be registered in organizations providing medical assistance in the field of mental health for mental and behavioral disorders (illnesses), including those related to the use of psychoactive substances.
Citizens and representatives of non-profit organizations wishing to participate in the competition must submit the following documents within ten working days from the date of the announcement:
- A written proposal (attached) from a non-profit organization and/or a citizen's application for the nomination of a candidate for the Public Council.
- Information about the candidate's professional and/or public activities, including biographical data.
- Certificate of the presence or absence of a criminal record.
- Certificate of the presence or absence of mental and behavioral disorders (illnesses), including those related to the use of psychoactive substances.
- Consent to the collection, processing, distribution, and publication of the candidate's personal data.
A member of the working group for the formation of the Bank's Public Council is not allowed to participate in the competition for election to the Bank's Public Council.
