The amount of the state bonus is 20% of the amount of savings for the year, not exceeding 200 MCI. The state bonus is accrued on the money that you put on deposit during the year, but not more than 200 MCI.
State bonus
The state bonus is funds from the republican budget that are credited to the deposits of Otbasy Bank depositors to support their efforts to improve their housing conditions.
The state bonus is awarded annually based on the results of the calendar year.
The funds are credited to all deposits at once in the first quarter of each year.
If you have accumulated 200 MCI by the end of the year, you will be awarded the maximum bonus amount.
What you need to remember
One depositor may have several housing savings accounts, but the State Bonus is credited to only one of his accounts.
The State Bonus is credited only to the account of a depositor who is a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
If your savings for the year amount to more than 200 MCI, then the State Bonus will be accrued for the amount exceeding the limit in the following year.
The State Bonus is also accrued on deposits that serve as collateral for obtaining interim and preliminary loans.
The State Bonus is not accrued on the previously rewarded contribution amount.
If you have been accumulating savings for less than three years and decide to close the deposit early, the State Bonus is returned to the budget.
If you received a housing loan but did not use it to improve your living conditions, the State Bonus is returned to the budget.
